Thousands continue to join family as march reaches Caeserea

The 'freedom march' for the release of Gilad Schalit reached Caeserea Friday evening and the family organized a Shabbat ceremony outside the residence of Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu.Aviva Schalit, Gilad's mother, opened the ceremony by saying "thousands of people who have supported us and marched with us over the past week stand behind us."RELATED:15,000 join Schalit family marchNoam Schalit: We know the priceActivists for the release of the kidnapped soldier regularly hold Shabbat ceremonies in front of Netanyahu's home and Jerusalem office, always leaving a spare seat which is reserved for Gilad.Aviva Schalit responded to a speech by Netanyahu in which he said that Israel would not pay any price for the release for Gilad."We never asked for release at all costs, the cost was determined by the Israeli government. Now we are saying enough," said Aviva.Aviva continued by saying "four long years of negotiations have gone by and nothing has happened. During this time terrorists were released and closure was imposed on Gaza. Mr. Prime minister, on Friday families will sit down to Shabbat dinner, and Gilad will sit in a hole in Gaza, God knows where, as he has for four years."Over 10,000 people joined the march on Friday escorting the Schalit family to Netanya.Shimshon Liebman, head of the Schalit campaign, said "More and more people understand that what we have done so far is not enough."
