A's mother: Katsav would call us in the night

"One morning, when the affair just broke out, a man in Haredi garb knocked on my door and told me 'if your daughter keeps quiet the president will keep quiet'," the mother of A', one of the complainants in the sexual crimes case against former president Moshe Katsav, told Channel 10 Tuesday. Her reply to the man was: "My daughter will not keep quiet over what was done to her." A's mother also claimed that Katsav would call up in the middle of the night, asking to speak to her daughter. "I'd hear her yelling at him on the phone: 'Leave me alone, you're married, you're married'". "The Torah says 'Thou shall not commit adultery," she fumed. "How dare he put a kippah on his head?"
