Nobel Prize winner Professor Yisrael Aumann told the Herzliya Conference on Saturday evening that "the care given to the evicted refugees [from Gush Katif] constitutes a national embarrassment."
Aumann spoke to the sixth Herzliya Conference at the Herzliya Interdisciplinary Center. He told attendees that the former Gush Katif evacuees were not "the enemy," but rather "creative people who built exemplary settlements and whose lives have now been ruined."
