Basketball player Dr. J makes house call to Shimon Peres

Dr. J is making an unlikely house call - to President Shimon Peres.
Basketball great Julius Erving is on a goodwill tour of the Jewish state. In a stop at the presidential mansion in Jerusalem on Wednesday, Erving said he considers himself to be an "ambassador" for Israel.
Erving is in Israel along with fellow basketball Hall of Famer Rick Barry to raise awareness for a youth village for underprivileged children in northern Israel.
Erving called Israel an inspiration for Jews in America as well as for other minorities.
