A motorcyclist was killed in an accident near Zichron Ya'akov, Israel Radio said.
A Magen David Adom team evacuated the man by helicopter to the Rambam Hospital in Haifa.
Police say it appears the man slipped as he was taking a turn, and collided head-on with the concrete separation barrier.
He was severely injured, and died in hospital later in the day.
