'Bureaucratic delays lead to absence of Israeli ambassador in US'

There is currently no Israeli ambassador in the US, Channel 10 reported Monday.
According to the report, there have been bureaucratic delays in securing US clearance for new envoy Michael Oren's appointment, while his predecessor, Salai Meridor, refused to stay on and has already returned to Israel.
