Cans of sweet corn, whole chickpeas, Egyptian ful, peas and carrots, green peas, and white beans in tomato sauce made by Yerek Paz in Um el-Fahm are being removed from store shelves by the Health Ministry.
Officials announced Thursday that these products were found by the Haifa District Health Office to be manufactured under substandard and unapproved conditions that could cause the presence of bacteria.
Consumers should not eat these specific products, the ministry said.
