Channel 2: Heftsiba's Boaz Yona to sign plea bargain with authorities

Heftsiba Construction, Development and Investments Ltd. CEO, Boaz Yona is close to reaching a plea bargain with Israeli authorities which will allow his quick extradition from Italy to face charges in Israel, Channel 2 reported Sunday.
According to the settlement deal being negotiated, Yona will abandon his appeal against extradition and will be flown to Israel immediately. He will then disclose and surrender all assets in his possession to authorities, in order to help compensate the hundreds of people damaged by Heftsiba's collapse last year. Yona will in return serve a relatively short incarceration period.
Yona fled the country shortly before his company crumbled under debts in August 2007.
