Court to rule on MK Blumenthal's sentence

The Tel Aviv Magistrate's Court will determine on Sunday the sentencing in the case of Likud MK Naomi Blumenthal. Blumenthal was convicted of charges that she rented rooms for Likud central committee members at the posh Sheraton City Tower Hotel Ramat Gan on the evening of a party primary vote and that she later concocted a version of events to cover up her actions. The prosecution will demand a prison term, while the defense will argue for community service, Israel Radio reported.
