Wage negotiations between Histadrut leader Ofer Eini and Treasury's Wage Supervisor Eli Cohen ended without compromise Sunday night, Israel Radio reported.
The break down came as Cohen made it clear that the Finance Ministry had no intention of raising wages in the public sector.
Cohen said that if a compromise would not be reached, he could not prevent a public sector strike.
