Envelope with white powder sent to Foreign Minister Livni's office

An envelope containing an unidentified white powder arrived Wednesday at the Jerusalem offices of Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni, police said.
An environmental team summoned to the scene determined that the powder was harmless, Jerusalem police spokesman Shmuel Ben-Ruby said.
Livni is the front-runner in the internal Kadima party race to replace Prime Minister Ehud Olmert next month.
Two months ago, a similar envelope arrived at the city hall offices of a an openly gay city councilman, a day before the city's annual gay pride parade.
