Israeli cultural icon and singer Shoshana Damari, who passed away Tuesday, will be laid to rest Friday morning in Tel Aviv.
At 8:00 her casket will be placed on the stage of Tel Aviv's Cameri Theater, and the funeral ceremony will take place at 11:30, and will be attended by President Moshe Katsav. Damari will be buried at the Old Cemetery on Trumpeldor Street.
The fabled singer died at Tel Aviv's Sourasky Medical Center after suffering from severe pneumonia.
