Finance committee refuses NIS 1.5 billion transfer

Chairman of the Knesset Finance Committee Ya'akov Litzman rejected the Treasury's request on Tuesday for a transfer of NIS 1.5 billion to the defense establishment.
According to Liztman, the request was rejected because it did not include any stipulations for protective reinforcement of educational institutions in the Gaza periphery.
Litzman demanded that the Treasury resubmit their request, and insisted that the new version include an allocation for reinforcement of education institutions.
