Four mortar shells fired from the northern Gaza Strip Tuesday landed in open fields in the western Negev. Another shell fell in a field belonging to one of the nearby towns.
Earlier Tuesday, five mortar shells fired from central Gaza landed in an open field near the Sufa border crossing.
No one was wounded and no damage was reported in any of the attacks.
