Millionaire businessman Arkady Gaydamak was delivering his testimony Sunday to the National Fraud Squad as part of an investigation surrounding the "fraud document" scandal.
State Attorney Eran Shendar on February 11 ordered that the investigation be opened following suspicions that Gaydamak was somehow involved with a fraudulent justice ministry document.
The document was allegedly sent to law enforcement authorities in Russia regarding his finances.
