HCJ rules Vanunu still cannot travel abroad

The High Court of Justice denied on Thursday a petition by Mordechai Vanunu that the terms of his release were too strict. Vanunu wanted the decision prohibiting him from traveling abroad to be withdrawn, but the court ruled that the restriction was reasonable. The court did, however, rule that Vanunu could now come within proximity to places from where he could cross into the West Bank and Gaza. The judges wrote in their ruling that they believe that Vanunu still holds unpublished top secret information that if released could pose an imminent threat to the State of Israel.
