Hadash MK Muhammad Barakei responded to an apparent Israeli artillery strike that caused the death of at least 12 Palestinians and wounded dozens more on a Gaza coast beach earlier in the day by saying blasting Defense Minister Amir Peretz. "The Defense Minister can wear on his chest the title of war criminal," said Barakei. "He bears ultimate responsibility for the crimes which the occupation army commits, and no apology will pardon him for the blood that his hands have spilled."
