Halutz: Security budget cuts 'insulting'

IDF Chief of Staff Lt.-Gen. Dan Halutz said late Tuesday night that not only did the security budget cuts harm the IDF, they also insulted the way in which the previous budget was decided upon. "Since we in the security establishment consider ourselves to be suitable and capable professionals, when the government apportions funds to us without fully grasping the repercussions of such an allocation, it insults those of us who work for [Israel's] security," said Halutz.
