"If the fate of captured IDF soldier Cpl. Gilad Schalit is important to the Israelis, the Israeli public needs to exert pressure on its government to bring about his release in the framework of a prisoner swap," Hamas spokesman in Gaza, Abu Obeida, told Israel Radio on Thursday night.
