Hamas Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh denied on Friday that Hamas agreed to stop weapons-smuggling efforts on Gaza's border with Egypt, and claimed that it was incapable of such action. Speaking to worshipers participating in Friday prayers, Haniyeh said: "We cannot stop the smuggling because it is beyond our ability as a government, and we made no commitments on the issue."
