IDF officials said Thursday morning that Israel had no intention of using the more than 60 senior Hamas members arrested overnight throughout the West Bank as bargaining chips to secure the release of kidnapped IDF Cpl. Gilad Shalit.
Overnight Wednesday, it was released for publication that 18-year-old Itamar resident Eliyahu Asheri, who was kidnapped on Sunday, had been executed by his captors.
