The army carried out an arrest raid in the West Bank village of Klil on Sunday morning, detaining a suspected Fatah activist who had a pistol and two ammunition clips in his possession.
There were reports of shooting, but no reports of any casualties.
Operations were continuing in the village on Sunday.
