IDF forces patrolling in naval patrol boats near the coast of the Gaza Strip killed a Palestinian near the Rafah border Friday overnight.
The shooting took place after soldiers in the patrol boat suspected Palestinians of smuggling weapons.
Palestinian spokespeople said there was an additional fatality, Israel Radio reported.
