IDF forces patrolling near the Gaza security fence shot and killed one Palestinian and wounded another after they were spotted trying to place an explosive device near the fence, Israel Radio reported Thursday morning. The two men reportedly belonged to Hamas. In response to that incident Palestinians fired mortar rounds near the Karni crossing. No one was wounded and no damage to property was reported. In overnight operations in the West Bank, IDF forces apprehended seven Palestinians wanted for questioning. In addition, one member from the PFLP was arrested near Nablus, and a Tanzim man was arrested near Tulkarm.
