IDF officer fired for Ni'lin shooting incident appointed to Tze'elim

Lt.-Col. Omri Burbarg, who was fired from his post as commander of Brigade 71 following a shooting incident in Ni'lin, was appointed head of the tank division on the Tze'elim base in the South on Tuesday.
As part of a plea bargain, Burbarg was charged with inappropriate behavior following the incident. The military lawsuit is expected to request that he receive only a conditional prison sentence.
