The IDF prosecutor's Office pressed charges, Thursday, against the officer who commanded a unit that hijacked a taxi in Dahariya and shot an unarmed Palestinian, in July.
The officer is accused of abuse of authority to the point of risking the safety of others, unlawful incarceration, serious sabotage, false testimony and other charges.
The indictment maintained that the operation in question was planned solely by the officer and was not approved by any of his commanders.
