An IDF soldier was in moderate condition on Sunday after being stabbed in the back, Army Radio reported.
According to the report, the soldier had hailed a cab after being stabbed, and asked that the driver take him home. The driver noticed that the soldier was bleeding, and called for help from Magen David Adom.
The soldier later told police that unidentified assailants had attacked him from behind and then fled. Police suspect the motive of the attack was criminal.
