IDF units were battling Palestinian gunmen in the Gaza Strip neighborhood of Zeitoun early Tuesday morning, Palestinian witnesses reported.
Thus far there were no reports of casualties.
The IDF, according to Israel Radio, confirmed that units were also operating in Beit Lahiya, in northern Gaza.
