Israel hands over remains of Jordanian soldier from 1967 war

Israel has handed over the remains of a Jordanian soldier killed in 1967 Middle East War, Jordan's Petra news agency reported. According to the report, the handover took place at the Allenby Bridge crossing between Jordan and Israel. Authorities did not identify the soldier, but the semiofficial Palestinian newspaper Al-Hayat al-Jadidah named the man as Mohammed Mahmoud from the northern city of Ramtha. Petra added that the soldier was killed in Jerusalem's suburb of Anata during the war.
