Kadouri suffers significant worsening of health

Rabbi Yitzhak Kadouri suffered a significant worsening of his health Tuesday, causing doctors to fear for his life. Speaking to Army Radio, Aryeh Deri, formerly of the Shas party, said that during the afternoon hours doctors discovered a fungus in his body, and that his condition reached "a real critical stage." Deri added that the medication for the fungus would only take effect in the late afternoon hours, such that the preceding hours were crucial.
