Jordanian King Abdullah will meet with Olmert in the near future to discuss ways of advancing the peace process between Israel and the Palestinians, Jordan's Petra news agency said Tuesday morning.
In a meeting Monday night, King Abdullah asked President Bush to do everything possible to advance peace in the region, adding that Jordan would play a key role in the peace process. He also emphasized the need for economic aid to the Palestinians to prevent a humanitarian crisis in the territories.
