The Knesset Finance Committee decided Monday to freeze former president Moshe Katsav's retirement benefits until the "outcome of his case becomes clear."
The High Court of Justice still has to rule on the legitimacy of the plea bargain deal that was offered to Katsav by Attorney-General Menahem Mazuz in the sexual crimes case against the former president.
