Shinui head Yosef "Tommy" Lapid and Shinui MK Avraham Poraz will announce on Monday whether they intend to stay in the party or not.
Despite recent tension in the party, efforts were being made in the Shinui ranks to prevent a split.
MK Ehud Rassabi on Saturday proposed a compromise, and called on Poraz to take the second place on the party's Knesset list.
