Shinui Chairman Yosef "Tommy" Lapid and MK Avraham Poraz were scheduled to announce their future plans at a press conference called for Monday.
Lapid was expected to announce his resignation from politics. On the other hand, Poraz was believed to be searching for alternate political frameworks such as Uzi Dayan's Tafnit party.
Ron Lowenthal, a newly elected Shinui candidate expressed his hopes that Lapid would stay in the party, Army Radio reported.
