Likud head Netanyahu appointed opposition leader

Knesset Speaker Dalia Itzik officially appointed Likud leader Binyamin Netanyahu as head of the opposition on Monday. Itzik said Netanyahu was chosen for the role because he was the leader of the largest party outside the coalition. Party size is the traditional method for selecting an opposition leader.
