Livni accused of wasting money on flight home from Paris

Sources close to Prime Minister Ehud Olmert criticized Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni on Monday for paying for business class tickets on an early flight back from the Paris conference, instead of flying back on Olmert's chartered El Al plane, where there was plenty of room, a few hours later. Channel 1 diplomatic correspondent Ayala Hasson reported that Livni's decision cost taxpayers dozens of thousands of shekels on the flights of the minister, her assistant and security guards. A response from Livni's office was not available by press time.
