MK Ariel submits bill proposing early elections

NU/NRP Faction Head MK Uri Ariel submitted a bill to the Knesset on Sunday proposing that the current government be disbanded, and calling for early public elections, Israel Radio reported. According to the report, Ariel said that the conclusions published by the Winograd Committee in their report about the Second Lebanon War, coupled with public contempt for the current leadership demands early elections. Ariel called on all parties in the Knesset to agree on a date to hold new elections.
