MK Henin: Report on Jewish-Arab social gaps 'shocking'

The report outlining the large social gaps between Israel's Jews and Arabs is "shocking but not surprising," Hadash MK Dov Henin said Wednesday.
Henin was responding to a Sikuy study which showed, among other findings, that the average life expectancy of Israeli Arabs was four years lower than that of their Jewish counterparts.
"The report shows enormous economic and social gaps, gaps in health services, and it highlights the fact that the Arab sector is harmed more from various environmental hazards," said Henin.
