MK Haim Ramon was feeling better Monday morning following the coronary angioplasty he underwent on Sunday.
He is to remain at the Sheba Medical Center a few days longer for medical observation, doctors said.
He was already speaking on the phone on Sunday evening discussing his upcoming agendas, Israel Radio reported.
