A 28-year-old man confessed to stabbing his older brother to death on Saturday in their parents' Tel Aviv home, Army Radio reported. The man initially denied committing the murder, telling police that an unidentified assailant had entered the apartment in the Tikvah neighborhood and attacked his 44-year-old brother. But he later confessed to the act, saying the two had been arguing over the victim's drug use. The confrontation heated up and the man then stabbed his older brother, he said. Police said Friday they were boosting their numbers in the area due to a recent increase in murder rates.
