Motorcyclist killed in accident near Afula

A motorcyclist was killed and a bicyclist injured Sunday morning in two separate collisions. At the entrance to Afula, a motorcyclist was hit by a car and killed. Police learned later that he did not have a valid license for the motorcycle. In Netanya, an elderly man suffered a stroke while being questioned on suspicion that he hit a French tourist, also a bicyclist, and then allegedly fled the scene. The man's condition was unknown.
