New law eases compensation process for fallen soldiers' families

Grieving families who lost sons or daughters in the army will no longer have to undergo an assessment of their financial situations before receiving state funds, according to a new law passed by the Knesset Tuesday. The law, which was proposed by MK Limor Livnat (Likud), was unanimously passed through a final vote by MKs from across the political spectrum.
