The funeral of Sgt. Nir Kahane, the soldier who was stabbed to death on Thursday at a checkpoint near Jerusalem, will be buried in a military cemetery Friday morning at 11:30 a.m. in Kiryat Tivon.
The assailant, a 29-year-old Palestinian, was apprehended by soldiers at the Kalandiya checkpoint immediately after the late-afternoon attack, Israel Radio reported.
