Olmert plans to press for accelerated fortification of Gaza belt homes

Prime Minister Ehud Olmert plans to press for an accelerated fortification of Gaza periphery homes, the state informed the Supreme Court on Monday in a message regarding a petition calling for more extensive protection from Kassam rocket attacks. According to the message, the Finance Ministry presented Olmert with a plan for infrastructural development and the prime minister said that if that plan is implemented, fortification of Gaza belt communities should be accelerated.
