Palestinians, B'tselem petition High Court to stop Ofra home construction

Five Palestinians and two Israeli human rights groups - B'tselem and Yesh Din - petitioned the High Court of Justice on Wednesday to stop construction of nine homes in the settlement of Ofra, saying they were built on their land.
The houses have all been issued demolition orders in the past, petitioners said, but these have not been enforced by authorities. They also asked that an immediate court order be issued to prevent the homes from being connected to water, electricity and sewage systems until a decision is reached on their fate.
