Palestinians launch Kassam and mortar overnight

Palestinians fired a Kassam rocket and a mortar shell at Israeli areas before dawn and overnight. The Kassam landed in an open area, and the mortar exploded near the security fence in the northern Gaza Strip. No one was wounded in the attacks, and no damage was caused, Israel Radio reported. IDF artillery fired back at the sources of the projectiles.
