A 28-year-old Jerusalem Arab was under arrest Thursday for allegedly peeking into private homes in the city on at least five occasions, police said.
The suspect, Samir Sha'aban, who had assaulted a civil guard volunteer who first caught him in the act red handed last week, was remanded in custody for five days Thursday by the Jerusalem Magistrate's Court.
Police said that they plan to press charges against him during this period.
