Police arrested a 21-year-old resident of Bnei Brak Sunday morning on suspicion that he operated a pirate radio station.
On Friday evening, police received complaints that pirate radio broadcasts were interfering with plane landings at Ben Gurion Airport.
Communications Ministry officials conducted a joint raid with the police on the apartment used for broadcasting and confiscated the radio equipment. The suspect was brought before the Tel Aviv civil court and was released on bail.
