Police arrest 1,000 illegal residents over weekend

Border Police arrested nearly 1,000 illegal Palestinian residents throughout the country over the weekend, it was reported on Sunday morning.
Some 320 of those arrested were brought in for questioning.
In addition, police arrested 20 Israelis who transported the illegal residents, and confiscated 10 stolen vehicles.
