Police on Tuesday arrested a 40-year-old taxi driver who had 120 packages of hashish weighing over 12 kilograms in his car.
The driver, a northern resident, claimed during his investigation that he had been sent on an errand for two Beduin men who were paying him NIS 500.
The Beersheba Magistrates' Court extended his remand for five days.
